In the beginning…

Welcome to TEDMATT, an attempt by a couple of old colleagues to share their thoughts and observations with a wider audience.  We are just getting started here so hopefully we will be engaged in creating an ever evolving  format and content.  Eventually we would like to see multiple contributors offering a wide range of coverage on any and all topics that strike an interest and may be of some value to others.  We foresee the themes ranging from philosophy to history, current events to book reviews, science and technology to politics, travel, art and beyond.  We certainly are not trying to limit ourselves at this point to any particular field of interest, rather we are going to attempt to combine all of our interests into a collage of the ideas and thoughts that hopefully end up forming and intergrated interdisiplinary whole.  Onward and Upward!
