Google Dashboard

November 14, 2009

I am a little late to the party to start talking about the new this new Google offering; Dashboard.  But having recently seen the just released documentary “We Live In Public” I have been thinking a lot about privacy in the digital world.  I have been an avid supporter of Google products for quite a while so it is pretty interesting to see what they now know about me.  If you are unfamiliar with Dashboard, it is an aggregation of all of the activity of a particular Google account, that is all web searches, Gmail messages, chat sessions, any Blogger activity, Google Map searches and so on, if Google owns it and you login to access it this is where you can find it.  The issues of privacy can be discussed at a later date.  For now just go and see what Google knows about you.
